Before you go
- Bring printed resumes, about 10 copies. No resume yet? Make one free with the resume builder; it prints clean on one page.
- Bring your cards and license. H2S, SafeLand or PEC, OSHA 10, TWIC and your CDL if you have them. See where to get your safety cards.
- Pre-register when the organizer offers it. It saves time at the door, and organizers can email you venue changes.
- Look up who is hiring first. Check companies hiring and the open jobs in that town so you can ask about a real opening.
- Dress for a site visit, not an office. Clean work clothes and boots are fine for most field jobs.
